Introduction
THRUNET extends LENS Authentication by adding secure proxy server login for educational institutions and workplaces. The extension is useful for client applications looking to authenticate with their organization, leveraging their own database storage, without compromising user credentials.
THRUNET leverages open authentication and is currently compatible with Microsoft-based organizations using dedicated servers for security. All credentials are encrypted before sent over traffic and decrypted only before use, and never stored.
THRUNET is currently in closed beta and only available to limited organizations as the codebase is being built.
